NBC Trustees are DELIGHTED to share that New Beginnings Community has been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest honour a voluntary organization can get and is the equivalent to an MBE. To say that we are over the moon at this award is an understatement. This award recognises the amazing people who give their time voluntarily to help run the various projects that operate from our hub in St Mark's, Thimblemill Road. Without the enthusiasm and compassion of them, this award would not have been possible. We also have to say a massive thank you to our community. It is not just a matter of you coming along to the various groups; together NBC and you the community work to find ways to improve the place we are in and to reduce loneliness. This award recognises that together we are New Beginnings Community and together we can make this community the best version of itself possible.
