Supporting Families in Smethwick and Across Sandwell
At New Beginnings Community, we are proud to be a local Spoke of the Sandwell Family Hubs network.
Family Hubs bring together services, support and opportunities for families with children and young people. As a Family Hub Spoke, we help make it easier for local families to access information, advice, activities and support within their community.
Based at St Mark's Community Hall in Smethwick, we provide a welcoming, friendly space where families can connect, learn and access support close to home.
What Does Being a Family Hub Spoke Mean?
As a Family Hub Spoke, we work alongside the wider Family Hub network to:

Provide a local point of access for family support services

Share information about services available to children, young people and families

Host activities that support children's learning, development and wellbeing

Help families connect with other services when additional support is needed

Create opportunities for parents and carers to build relationships and reduce isolation

Support families during pregnancy, early years and beyond
